Back by popular demand, Dr. Zorba Paster will join area women for the 8th Annual Juneau County Women’s Night Out.

Ladies of all ages, you are invited to learn about local health and wellness opportunities on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at Mauston High School.  Starting at 4 p.m., you can join in on a night of enlightenment as you enjoy refreshments, visit health and wellness exhibits, participate in interactive sessions, and see what area vendors have to offer.

After you finish in the exhibit hall, you will have the opportunity to hear from community experts about identity theft protection, and other health and wellness-related topics.  Once the exhibit hall closes, and raffle winners are announced, you’ll hear from keynote speaker Dr. Zorba Paster.  Known for his popular Wisconsin Public Radio show and health segments on local news stations, Zorba will present:  Five Steps to Self Improvement.  His discussion will provide you with tips on handling stress, preventing burn-out, making better choices and improving your self image.

Doctor Zorba encourages all women to attend this year’s event.  “Study after study shows that education is a key component to health and wellness.  The more you learn, the more you adapt, the more likely you are to kick the bad habits and pick up the good ones,” says Zorba.  “Attending an event like Women’s Night Out is an important step to embracing wellness.”

Event tickets are just $15 each and will be sold at several area locations, including Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston and Elroy Family Medical Center.  Women’s Night Out has sold out in recent years, so be sure to get your tickets before they’re gone.
