You won’t want to miss the Gays Mills Folk Festival Fundraiser scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 8 at the Community Building, located at 212 Main Street.

The event kicks off with a squash cook-off contest/potluck dinner at 6 p.m., followed by a square dance at 7:30 p.m.

The local square dance will be celebrating its 25-year anniversary and everyone’s invited with or without previous experience.

While the potluck is featuring a squash cook-off complete with prizes for the winners, organizers say any potluck dish to pass is welcome.

Admission is $5 and the funds will support the folk festival.
