The Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will be hosting their 17th annual Golf Classic on Friday, July 7 starting at 10 a.m.          
The golf time for two-person best ball will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There is a $10 donation per person, plus green and cart fees for those who are not members.  Earlier tee times are available.  Call Darlington Country Club at 608-776-3377 for your tee time.
This year there is a chance to win $10,000 with a hole-in-one cash prize sponsored by Darlington Dairy Supply.
The Helicopter Golf Ball Drop Fundraiser will be at 6 p.m. at the Darlington Country Club. Only 300 tickets were sold and there will only be one drop. Tickets are $20 each with five chances of winning. A helicopter will drop the balls over the target and whoever’s ball is the closest will receive $1,000; second $500; third $300; fourth $200; and $500 for the farthest away.  Tickets may be purchased at MHLC or from any Auxiliary Member.
The theme this year of Christmas in July will have everybody getting into the holiday spirit.     
The event will not only be for those who golf, there is something for EVERYONE. A silent auction and golf cart decorating contest will be held during the day/evening.   At 8 p.m. a live auction will begin.
