Quota International of Platteville will hold its annual Fancy Cookie Sale at Neal Wilkins Early Learning Center, 425 Broadway, Saturday, Dec. 13 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Shoppers can select from decorated homemade morsels while enjoying live entertainment from Tom Bedtka, refreshments and door prizes. Sales will continue as long as cookies remain to be sold, at $8 per pound. Baked treats in a tin are $9. Homemade items, jewelry, mittens, walnuts, wreaths, trademarked products and yard art also will be sold.

The Fancy Cookie Sale is Quota’s major fundraiser each year. The Platteville club raises money for Soundfield systems in the Platteville Public Schools. Other proceeds from the sale will benefit the club, whose mission includes service to the deaf, hard-of-hearing and speech-impaired people, families in need, disadvantaged youth and elderly people.
