Richland County Performing Arts Council is excited to be hosting a special Irish Show on Saturday, March 18 at the City Auditorium. 

‘LEAHYS LUCK’, an Irish Folk Band from the greater Milwaukee area, will be taking the stage at 7:00 pm for a traditional Irish Celebration in Song and dance. The group, which at the core, is made up of many of the Leahy family. 

Along with them, the world renowned Stas Venglevski, a bayan accordion virtuoso, has been performing with symphonies internationally, the Milwaukee Pops Orchestra led by Doc Severinsen, has appeared with Garrison Keillor’s “A Prairie Home Companion” and numerous venues far and near. His artistry, dazzling technical command, and sensitivity have brought Stas, a native of the Republic of Moldova, part of the former Soviet Union, world-wide acclaim. With 11 recordings to his credit, he has served as President of the prestigious International Accordionists and Teachers Guild. A lover of all types of music, Stas adds his own all-world flavor to the sound of Leahy’s Luck. The band has won numerous music awards and performed at most Irish Festivals across the Midwest. 

This night of celebrating the Irish Holiday will be a night of music, laughter, dance and fun. 

Brittany Hying’s Irish Dancers will also perform. 

Tickets are on sale at Capital Wealth Advisory Group offices, Kelly’s Coffee RC and Napa Auto Parts in RC. All seats are just $15 and beverages and refreshments will be available. Doors will open at 6:00 pm and the show will start at 7:00 pm. Put on your green and come on out to experience the Irish in music and song the traditional way. Don’t miss this opportunity!
