Platteville’s Hometown Festival Week ended Saturday after kids activities at the Party in the Park at City Park, two trivia contests — the first benefiting the Platteville Community Fund at Steve’s Pizza Palace, the second the Geek Trivia Contest at the Platteville Public Library — a chance to see fire trucks and ambulances at the Southwest Health Center Strawberry Festival at Legion Park, caricature-drawing at the Mitchell–Rountree Stone Cottage ice cream social, the Wundo Band performing at the Party in the Park, a costume photo fundraiser for the Platteville Community Auditorium and glass-blowing by Michael Myers of Potosi during the Festival of the Arts. On Sunday, everyone involved rested.
