Friends of the Platteville Municipal Auditorium will hold a fundraiser for the auditorium’s renovation in the Municipal Building Saturday, Oct. 12 at 8 p.m.

The fundraiser will feature a performance of “The Stupid Economy,” performed by award-winning actress Chrissy Hogue.

“The Stupid Economy” tours today’s economy, with Hogue performing seven roles depicting women from all rungs of the economic ladder.

The performance is also being presented by the Platteville Community Fund and the Grant County Tourism Board.

Admission is $10. Tickets to the wine/appetizer reception at 7 p.m. are $25.
