The Vernon County Unit on Aging is seeking nominations for this year’s ‘Seniors of Distinction’ event.

Anyone interested in nominating a senior age 65 and older who deserves a moment in the spotlight as recognition for their commitment and contributions to Vernon County can call or write a letter to Pat Peterson, Director, Vernon County Unit on Aging, 318 Fairlane Drive, Suite 219, Viroqua, WI  54665.

Nomination letters need to be postmarked by Aug. 21.  Awardees will be announced at the Super Senior Tea Sept. 13, at the Viroqua Church of Christ.  Seniors of Distinction also reign at the Senior Building at the Vernon County Fair Sept. 17-20.
