A Veteran Suicide Awareness 5K March will be held from City Park to the Wisconsin National Guard Armory in Platteville Saturday, Oct. 16.

Registration is at 10 a.m., with the march at 11 a.m. Food will be available at the armory afterward. Participants should park at the armory; shuttles will take participants to City Park.

A $10 donation per person is suggested. Proceeds will go to area veterans in need of mental health services. Donations also may be sent to VFW Post 2344, P.O. Box 254, Lancaster, WI 53813, or Platteville American Legion Vet March, P.O. Box 431, Platteville, WI 53818.
