Western Technical College will host a Smartphone and Tablet Help Workshop on Saturday, April 2, from 10 a.m.-noon at the Tomah regional location, 120 East Milwaukee St. It is free and open to the public.

Students from the Emerging Technology class will be hosting this workshop as part of Western’s Community Education program to teach community members beginner-level tips and tricks for their devices.

“Students are able to apply the knowledge they learn in the classroom to help community members discover the capabilities of their devices,” said Kari Reyburn, Community Engagement coordinator at Western. “It benefits both the students and the participants.”

To attend, you must bring your own device or come with someone who can share. All brands of smartphones and tablets will be supported.

This is a free, one-time offering. Reservations are encouraged, as space is limited, and can be made by calling 608-374-7700.
