World War II vets honored on Veterans' Day
WWII VETS

A special part of Tuesday's Veterans' Day program at Boscobel High School included the reading of biographies of four Boscobel-area World War II veterans by BHS seniors as part of a living history project. Pictured following Tuesday's program are, from left, Cole Wagner and Gene Cooley of Woodman, Tayler King and Fred Staskal of Boscobel, Keely Foley and Rudy Dienes of Blue River, and Anna Johnson and Bernard Young of Boscobel. The men are all Navy Veterans who served in the Pacific Theater in World War II, except for Young, who served with the Army in Europe, including at the Batlle of the Bulge in December 1944.
