Iowa County coroner dies

DODGEVILLE — Iowa County Coroner Bill Finley, 65, Mineral Point, died of cancer Oct. 18,

Finley started as deputy coroner in 1982, became chief deputy coroner in 1996, and became coroner in 2003.
Finley was a member of the Mineral Point Fire Department and its former chief.

Finley resigned in September for health reasons. Gov. Scott Walker is in the process of appointing a replacement.
