Official write-ins part of village election

When Muscoda village voters go to the polls Tuesday they will find one name on the ballot for three trustee positions.

Incumbent David Wiederholt filed the necessary papers by the January deadline to have his name on the ballot. Incumbents Josh Prochaska and Jason Schafer both filed notices of non-candidacy.

Since that time two men, Larry Anderson and Sanford Miller, have given notice that they are official write-in candidates for trustee positions.

Voters should be aware that a photo-identification is necessary to cast a ballot Tuesday.

Three Riverdale school board terms expire in April. All three incumbents, Davina Meckley, Area 1; David McHenry, Area 5; and Stacy Hach, Area 9, filed nomination papers to be on the ballot.

On the Village of Avoca ballot for three trustees are incumbent Doris Kienitz as well as Stacey Wardell and Jeff Fraser. Incumbents Dale Peterson and Diana Cole filed non-candidacy papers.

Village of Blue River voters will see the names of four candidates for three trustee positions. They are incumbents Ron Havlik and Kent Harris as well as Charlie Johnson and John Withers.
