Lunch prices will be increasing for the youngest Platteville School District students, but not for older students.

The School Board voted to increase lunch prices for pre-kindergarten through fourth grades from $2.35 per day to $2.40 per day.

Prices for fifth through 12th grades will stay the same, $2.60. Prices for adults also will stay the same, $3.85.

The School Board approved a 2013–14 bread contract with the company that supplied the school district this past school year, Bimbo Bakeries/Sara Lee. The contract is slightly less than the 2012–13 contract, according to school district Business Manager Art Beaulieu.

The School Board also approved the milk contract with the only bidder, Prairie Farms.
