Community Evangelical Free Church in Platteville will host GriefShare, a 13-week seminar and support group for people grieving the death of someone close to them, beginning Thursday.

GriefShare features Biblical teaching on grief and recovery subjects. Each session includes a DVD seminar featuring experts on grief and recovery subjects, as well as real-life stories of people who have lost loved ones. A small group discussion and an opportunity to interact with others who have suffered a loss follows.

GriefShare will be held at the church, 300 Pioneer Road East, Thursdays from Sept. 5 to Dec. 5 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Registration is $15 to cover the cost of the workbook. Scholarships are available.
