Ground broken for Memory Care Home

Bethel Home and Services board members and community representatives conducted the official groundbreaking for a new Memory Care Home in Viroqua.

The home will offer an alternate living environment for seniors with Alzheimer’s Disease or other dementia. Designed to accommodate 14 individuals with private  bedrooms and bath, it also includes group dining, activity and living space. 

Supervision will be provided 24 hours a day, offering maximum independence according to various individual needs.

The project is just west of Maplewood Terrace at 620 Garfield Ave.  It is expected to be completed by May 2015.

Admission inquiries are currently being accepted by Community Services Administrator Debra Stout Tewalt at 614 South Rock Ave., Viroqua, WI  54665.  Inquiries may be made at 608-637-6340 or dtewalt@bethelhome.org.  Applications will be kept on file for appropriate placement closer to the opening of the home.
