In April, 2017 investigators from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office concluded a lengthy investigation into the illegal sale and possession of methamphetamine, prescription medication, and marijuana in the Soldiers Grove and Gays Mills area.
The investigation began in August, 2016 when Investigators were able to gain additional knowledge of the growing narcotics problems in this particular area. As the investigation continued to unfold, Investigators were able to facilitate 23 controlled purchases of narcotics.
The major focus of the investigation was the illegal sale of amphetamine and opiate based prescription medication, however the investigation spanned to the sale of methamphetamine and marijuana.
As the investigation concluded, the people listed below were either arrested, or are facing charges connection with the investigation and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office is recommending the following charges for each individual:

Bryant Olson, 29 of Gay Mills, three counts of Delivery of Prescription Medication
Sarah B. Olson, 29 of Gays Mills, three counts of Delivery of Prescription Medication
Eric Wollschlager, 49 of Soldiers Grove, three counts of Delivery of Prescription Medication
Kayla Raymond, 27 of Soldiers Grove, two counts of Delivery of Prescription Medication
Dale Coppernoll, 43 of Romance, three counts of Delivery of Prescription Medication
Samuel Clark, 33 of Soldiers Grove, Possession of Marijuana and Probation Violation
Christopher Grabowski, 32 of Richland Center, one count of Delivery of Methamphetamine
Kayla Kuykendall, 29 of Soldiers Grove, one count of Delivery of Methamphetamine, one count of Delivery of Prescription Medication, and two counts of Delivery of Marijuana
The two individuals listed below are being referred to the Crawford County District Attorney’s Office for the following charges:
Johnny Pettit, 53 of Soldiers Grove, one count of Delivery of Prescription Medication
Lucas Kradle, 30 of Soldiers Grove, three counts of Delivery of Marijuana
It should be noted that the District Attorney files formal charges and the charges listed above are those, which the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office has recommended for each individual.
