GAYS MILLS - Applications are now bring sought for candidates for the 2018 Gays Mills Apple Queen Royalty. Applications are available at the North Crawford Middle/High School Office, or by contacting the Gays Mills Village Office at 735-4341.

There will be two divisions: young ladies in grades 8-11 (or age 14-17) will compete for Apple Queen, and younger ladies currently in grades 5-7 (ages 10-14) will compete for Apple Princess.

Applications must be submitted by 3:45 p.m. on Friday, June 1 to the North Crawford Middle/High School Office, or the Gays Mills Village Office.

The 2018 Gays Mills Apple Queen Royalty coronation will take place on Saturday, June 9, 6 p.m., at 212 Main Street, Gays Mills.

Come join the village as they crown the 2018 Gays Mills Apple Queen, Princess and their Attendants.

The 2018 Gays Mills Apple Queen Royalty will serve as goodwill ambassadors to represent the Gays Mills Community at various area parades and events promoting the Apple Orchards, and reign over the 60th Annual Gays Mills Apple Festival.

There will be a meet-and-greet reception beginning at 6 p.m. A meal will be served at the reception. Cost for adults will be $5; children 10 and under will be $3; Toddlers two-and-under and all visiting royalty will be free. The crowning program will begin at 7 p.m.
