One hurt in three-vehicle crash

One person was injured in a three-vehicle crash on U.S. 151 near Kieler Saturday morning.

A truck driven by Michael Resczenko, 42, Oskaloosa, Iowa, began sliding on 151 north of Grant County H when Resczenko tried to make a lane change, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Department.

Resczenko’s truck slid sideways and was hit by a car driven by James Lund, 53, Coralville, Iowa, around 9:50 a.m. Resczenko’s truck spun again and was hit by a truck driven by Gary Wallace, 70, Ogden, Iowa.

Lund’s passenger, Leigh Randa, 51, Coralville, Iowa, was taken by Dickeyville EMS to Southwest Health Center in Platteville.

All three vehicles suffered heavy damage. The Jamestown Fire Department and First Responders assisted at the scene.
