Local history books to be sold by Muscoda Lions
First 100 years of the village
Muscoda Lions First 100 Years history book

MUSCODA - The Avoca-Blue River-Muscoda Lions Club will continue fundraising efforts for a community project through the sale of a book detailing the first 100 years of the village.  The book is reprinted with permission of Wendell Smith, and was originally published in 1994 in conjunction with the Muscoda centennial celebration.

An anonymous local historian assisted the Lions Club in reprinting the original book with the help of Hynek Printing of Richland Center.  The cost of the book entitled, ‘Muscoda – The First 100 Years,’ will be $10. Proceeds will go toward the Lions Club project to resurface the village basketball court near the swimming pool in honor of Tracy Krueger, a longtime history teacher and coach.

The books will be available at Wilkinson Auction & Realty or the Lower Wisconsin Riverway Board office, both in Muscoda.  Members of the Lions Club also will have copies available for purchase.  Contact Lion president Dan Biba at 608-588-4647, Ercill Faga at 604-5255 or Mark Cupp at 739-2179 for more information.
