Applications for the spring 2016 Platteville Community Fund grant cycle are being received through Friday, April 15.

Charitable non-profit organizations and/or local government entities serving the people of the Platteville area are eligible to apply for grants; requests from individuals are not eligible.

Applications must be completed online and submitted online no later than Friday, April 15 at 11:59 p.m. Mailed, emailed or faxed copies of applications and/or incomplete or late applications will not be considered. To access the application, go to www.cfsw.org, choose open grant applications from the grants dropdown menu and scroll to Platteville Community Fund (spring).  For more information, contact Community Foundtion of Southern Wisconsin donor services representative Barb Daus, Barb@cfsw.org, or CFSW grants and scholarships manager Jackie Ommodt, Jackie@cfsw.org.

The Platteville Community Fund is a component of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin, a tax-exempt public charity.  The monies for the spring grant cycle, more than $30,000 in 2016, are available as a result of legacy gifts provided through the estates of Clarence Gribble, Elinore Loveland, Margaret Keizer and Robert and Marjorie Hartshorn.

In reviewing applications, the grants committee looks at the scope and potential impact of projects to address needs within the Platteville community.

For more information about the Platteville Community Fund, contact chair Nathan Curry, 348-2615, nathanc@kopplaw.net, or Daus, 778-3344, barb@cfsw.org.
