Collision starts electrical fire in Lancaster

A delivery truck navigating between Bennett's Automotive and Tres Chic Salon May 5, 2023 struck a power pole, taking it down and causing an electrical fire at Tres Chic at the entry of electrical service. Lancaster Fire, supported by Lancaster EMS and Lancaster police, rushed to prevent the fire from spreading. Alliant Energy disconnected the power feeding the fire.
