A 41-year-old Cuba City man was arrested in a high-risk traffic stop in Platteville May 2.

Jeremy Welp was arrested for second-offense drunk driving after a traffic stop on South Chestnut Street near Carlisle Street around 8 p.m.

Grant County authorities were searching for a driver who brandished a firearm at another driver when Platteville police spotted the car coming into Platteville.

Charges have not been filed for the arrest yet, according to court records.
