Deputies responded to State Highway 81, Darlington Township for a multiple vehicle accident.  Russell L. Carius, 61, Benton and Robert E. Steger, 70, Darlington were driving east bound on State Highway 81 when Steger began to slow  his vehicle at the intersection of Otter Creek Road,  yielding to Joseph W. Corley, 56, Darlington,  and several motorcycles following.  Carius struck the rear end of Steger’s vehicle, causing him to enter the west bound lane. Corley swerved to avoid a head-on collision and entered the ditch line where he was ejected from his motorcycle.  Carius’ 2007 Chevrolet Truck, Steger’s 1997 Dodge Truck and Corley’s 1989 Harley Davidson all received moderate damage  and were towed from the scene.  Rural Medical Ambulance Service and Darlington Fire Department assisted on scene.  Minor injuries were reported.
