In search of a bathroom ...

Platteville police are not the only law enforcement officers who deal with those who can’t find a private place to go to the bathroom.

A Grant County sheriff’s deputy saw a Cascade, Iowa, man urinating behind a vehicle from Texas at the Kieler Truck Plaza on Grant County H in the Town of Jamestown early Saturday morning.

Benjamin Connell, 24, was cited for disorderly conduct for urinating in public and “his conduct during the investigation,” according to the sheriff’s department.

The sheriff’s department report indicated that the vehicle had two women, both intoxicated, sleeping inside. A responsible party picked up all three people, according to the sheriff’s department.
