A 73-year-old rural Platteville man was injured and arrested for third-offense drunk driving after a crash on Grant County B west of Platteville Thursday afternoon.

According to the Grant County Sheriff's Department, John F. Petronis was driving west on County B near Fountain Bluff Lane just before 4 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle.

Petronis' truck hit an embankment and rolled over four to five times, ending in the south-side ditch.

Petronis was taken by Platteville EMS to Southwest Health Center.

Petronis was also cited for operating after revocation and inattentive driving.

UW–Platteville police and the Platteville Fire Department assisted at the scene.
