PLATTEVILLE — An 18-year-old Stevens Point man faces drugged driving charges after a traffic stop Nov. 8.

Jacob Edward Sobczak was cited for operating a motor vehicle with a detectable amount of restricted substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sobczak was stopped by Platteville police in front of 530 S. Water St. around 1:15 a.m. A Grant County K-9 unit in the area stopped to assist, and the dog “hit on the vehicle immediately,” police said.
