UW–Platteville police are investigating the theft of two vehicles from Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium Sunday morning.

According to a UWP news release, a red 2012 Case–IH Farmall 50-B tractor with a loader and a green 2012 John Deere Gator were stolen from Pioneer Stadium at 6:11 a.m.

The vehicles were stored underneath the stadium. The stadium was broken into by cutting the lock to the fenced-in area, according to the news release.

Neither vehicle had keys, and the tractor was used to tow the Gator from the stadium, according to UWP police. The vehicle tracks stopped just out of view of stadium security cameras, which indicates the vehicles were loaded onto a trailer, according to the release.

UWP is asking for assistance in solving the theft. Anyone who saw vehicles at Pioneer Stadium Sunday morning or saw the tractor and Gator on a trailer are asked to call UWP police, 342-1584, or email ihmr@uwplatt.edu.
