Two arrested after marijuana search warrant

TOWN OF LAMONT — Two men were arrested after a search warrant that discovered a marijuana-growing operation on Lafayette County D near Darlington Wednesday.

Cody L. Bevins, 26, was arrested after the search Wednesday. Charges are pending. Bevins is out on bond, according to court records.

One day later, Bronson H. Ubersox, 26, Shullsburg, was arrested on charges of manufacture or delivery of 2,500 to 10,000 grams of marijuana, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, and maintaining a drug trafficking place. Ubersox’s first appearance in Lafayette County Circuit Court will be Monday at 9 a.m. He is in the Lafayette County Jail, according to court records.

The Sheriff’s Office, Argyle police, and members of the Lafayette County and Monroe Police Department Emergency Response Team executed the search warrant at 5 a.m. No one was injured, and no property was damaged, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The Sheriff’s Office said further arrests and charges may be made.
