A 52-year-old Darlington man was injured in a tractor–trailer rollover on U.S. 151 east of Belmont Wednesday afternoon.

William Golackson was driving a semi owned by Terry Johnson and Sons of Darlington south on 151 around 12:20 p.m.

According to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department, Golackson tried to turn from 151 to Burr Oak Road too fast, and the semi overturned and slid into the ditch at the southeast corner of the intersection.

Golackson was taken to a hospital by Belmont EMS. He was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

The Belmont Fire Department assisted at the scene.
