UWP engineering physics students demonstrate the function of a quadcopter, a remote-control flying vehicle.

UW–Platteville held its Engineering, Mathematics and Science Exposition Thursday morning for elementary, middle and high school students. The expo featured student organizations that are involved with the contests, demonstrations and exhibits, with each major discipline offering a workshop for students. Forty UWP student projects were on display. UWP students and faculty in civil and environmental engineering, computer science and software engineering, electrical engineering, engineering physics, chemistry, general engineering, industrial engineering, mathematics and mechanical engineering conducted demonstrations.
