The Gays Mills Food Pantry gained 2,968 pounds of food from the ‘Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.” This drive was sponsored by the National Association of Letter Carriers held on May 9. We had 14 volunteers who helped pick up, sort and shelve all the donations. We received 1,976 pounds from the Gays Mills and Soldiers Grove Post Offices, 586 pounds from Boscobel Post Office, and 406 pounds from Eastman Post Office. The Food Pantry wishes to thank all area residents who donated food, the rural mail carriers for picking up the donations, postmasters for their cooperation and to the volunteers.

If you missed this opportunity to donate, monetary donations can be mailed to the Gays Mills Food Pantry PO Box 111 Gays Mills WI 54631. Non-Perishable food items may be left at area churches or at the Food Pantry during normal hours.
