Apple picker Shawn Hagen was hard at work Monday morning picking some rather large Honey Crisp apples at the Fleming Orchard along Highway 171 in Gays Mills. Orchard owners and managers seem very pleased with this year’s crop despite some trying growing conditions over the course of the season.
