Stoddard woman hurt in motorcycle crash

A 19-year-old Stoddard woman was injured when the motorcycle she was driving went off a road and overturned in Bergen township April 8.

According to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office in Viroqua, Alicia Penchi was unable to negotiate a curve on Cedar Valley Road.

Her motorcycle went into a field and overturned.

Penchi, who was wearing a helmet, was transported with non-life-threatening injuries to Gundersen Health System in La Crosse by Tri-State Ambulance.

According to the Vernon County Broadcaster of Viroqua, Gundersen Health System reported April 8 that Penchi was treated and released.

Assisting at the scene were the Stoddard First Responders and the Stoddard-Bergen Fire Department.
