Alan Slavick, age 67, was taken from this life by cancer early January 29, 2020 at his home in rural Soldiers Grove. Always healthy and active, his death comes as a surprise to all who knew him. He was skilled in many things and not afraid of hard work. He always had another big project to be done.

A time to remember Alan’s life and adventures will be held at a later date.

As a dedicated environmentalist, memorials to such groups are welcome. What Alan would really prefer is that everyone would help to get rid of the invasives, especially the garlic mustard scourge. Many thanks to all who offered help and encouragement.
