The Lord retrieved the soul of his honorable servant, Arthur Francis Boyle, 85 of Rockford, Ill., on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012, following a short illness. Art was born on Dec. 22, 1926, in Darlington, the son of Francis and Mildred (White) Boyle. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 14, 2012, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2400 Bell Ave., Rockford, Ill. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m., Friday, April 13, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave., Rockford, Ill., and from 9-9:45 a.m. on Saturday in the church parish hall. Interment will be held at a later date in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Darlington.
