Heaven received another angel on Aug. 5, 2017. Audrey Mona Soper passed away at Pleasant View Nursing Home, freed at last from Huntington’s Disease that claimed nearly half of her life.
Audrey was born Nov. 1, 1926 the oldest of eight children of Agnes and Marshall Andrews. She grew up in the Argyle area. In 1944, she married Kenneth B. Pederson and together they had 4 children. She married Gene Soper in 1971.
In her healthy years, Audrey loved pretty clothes and high heel shoes, and wore them well. She was also known for the wonderful angel food cakes she made for every holiday and family gathering. She also enjoyed trips to Texas to visit family.
Audrey is survived by son: Kerry (Linda) Pederson of Fort Atkinson; daughters: Toni (Philip) Jones of Albany and Kelly (Eric) Evans of Saginaw, Texas; daughter-in-law: Linda Pederson of Monticello. She is also survived by brother: Joe Andrews and sisters: Liz Black and Mary Montgomery, all of Texas. Also many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband Gene, son Jerry Pederson, grandsons: Kim and Chad Pederson, brothers: Jim and Toby and sisters: Nancy and Fola.
The family wants to thank Dr. Anderson and the entire staff of Pleasant View Nursing Home for their 25 years of care and compassion.
