Benjamin (Ben) Minter, age 87, lifelong farmer of the township of Pulaski, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, January 10 at home.  Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Avoca. Burial followed in the church cemetery. 

Visitation was held at the Avoca Village Hall 401 East Wisconsin Ave, Avoca on Friday, January 13, 2023, from 4-7 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 3:45 p.m. Visitation was also held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, January 14, 2023, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.

 Memorials may be directed to Avoca Fire Department and Avoca EMS or Second Harvest Food Bank. 

The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
