Bernard C. “Boom”Richter (the Big Red gum man) left this world to be with his Lord on Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, at Boscobel Care and Rehab. Memorial services were held on Monday, Dec. 12 at 11 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. Father Peter Auer officiated, with burial in the Boscobel Cemetery. The Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel assisted the family. A memorial fund is being established  in Bernard (“Boom”) Richter’s name. Online condolences can be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com.
