William “Bill” E. Bender, age 79, of Soldiers Grove and formerly of Viola, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at his home on Friday, September 25, 2020. He was born on June 1, 1941, at his family home in the Township of Kickapoo to the late Ival and Verda (Harris) Bender.

A public graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2020, at the Viola Cemetery. Pastor Pam Harkema will officiate. Online condolences may be expressed at www.vossfh.com.
