PRAIRIE DU CHIEN—Carl C. “Mike” Wachter, age 97, of Prairie du Chien, passed away peacefully Sunday, Oct. 12, 2014 at the Prairie Maison Care Center.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 16 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Rev. Joe Irvin officiating with burial at the Evergreen Cemetery, both in Prairie du Chien. Military Honors will be accorded by the Prairie du Chien Honor Guard. Friends may call Thursday, Oct. 16, at the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services.
