DUBUQUE, IOWA—Carl J. Hartung, 63, of Dubuque, joined our heavenly father Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 in the loving arms of his wife, after receiving last rites from Archbishop Kucera at Stonehill Care Center.

Friends greeted the family from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, at Hoffmann Schneider and Kitchen Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3860 Asbury Road, where a prayer service was at 6 p.m. Private burial was at Resurrection Cemetery.
