D. Michael (Mike) McCormick, 71, of Florence, Alabama passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014 in Tuscumbia, Alabama. He had resided in Alabama for the last 30 years and he had served in the U.S. Army.

He was born in Gays Mills to parents Arthur and Beatrice McCormick.

Mike is survived by his brother, John, as well as his nephew, nieces, and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as sisters, Phyllis and Jane.

At his request there will be no services.
