LANCASTER—David Allen Clapp, aged 73, formerly of Lancaster, passed away at home in Maple Grove, Minn., on June 17, 2013.

A graveside memorial service will take place at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10 at Hillside Cemetery in Lancaster, followed by a brief gathering of friends and family at the Lancaster Country Club. Schwartz Funeral Home & Cremation Services is assisting the family. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials to honor David can be made to your local National Public Radio station.
