David E. Leirmo, age 94, of Ferryville, WI, passed away in the comfort of his home on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.  He was born on March 28, 1929, the son of Jens and Agnes (Emerson) Leirmo.  David was baptized and confirmed at Freeman Lutheran Church and went on to graduate from Luther College in 1950.  He married Clara Munson on June 27, 1953, and they shared many years farming and raising a family together until her passing on February 1, 2001.  He then married Evelyn (Lee) Hatlan on October 4, 2003 and they had many happy years together. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Freeman Lutheran Church, Ferryville.  Burial will be in the Freeman Lutheran Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Friday, Jan. 12, 2024 from 4-6 p.m. at Thorson-Popp Funeral and Cremation Services in Viroqua, and on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.  Thorson-Popp Funeral and Cremation Services is entrusted with his services.
