David P. Burkholder, 75, of Platteville died on Sunday, November 5, 2017, at Mercy Hospital, Dubuque.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Rev. Mike Short will officiate.  Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Platteville. Chapel military rites will be accorded by American Legion Post 42 and VFW Post 5274.   Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville.
