David W. Burkholder, 86, Platteville, passed away on Friday, March 22 at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque, Iowa.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26 at the Platteville United Methodist Church. Reverence Brenda Whitford officiated. Burial was at the Hillside Cemetery in Platteville. Visitation was on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church. In lieu of plants and flowers, a David W. Burkholder Memorial Fund has been established.  The Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville is entrusted with his services.
