Dean W. Hinrichs, age 79, of Fort Myers, Fla, formerly of Lancaster, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020, at his home in Florida.

He was born on January 23, 1941, in Littleport, Iowa, the son of Louis and Florence (Smith) Hinrichs. Graveside services was held on Friday, October 9, 2020, at Hurricane Cemetery, South Lancaster Township at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Pam Strakeljahn officiating.  Due to COVID-19, those in attendance are asked to observe social distancing and wear a mask.  Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Potosi is serving the family.
