Donald D. Tunks, age 88 years, of rural Ontario, passed away on Wednesday, Nov.  26, 2014, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hillsboro, Wisconsin.

He was born on Sept. 19, 1926 to Dean and Mildred (Walker) Tunks in the Town of Glendale, Monroe County, Wisconsin.

Donald was a lifelong farmer in the Mount Tabor area.  He loved the outdoors and enjoyed coon hunting, fishing in Canada, farming his land, and deer hunting.

Donald is survived by a cousin, Stuart Walker of Sheboygan and other relatives and dear friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Funeral Services will be Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
