CASSVILLE—Donald J. Metcalf, age 82, of Cassville, died on Monday, June 15, 2015, at Atrium Post Acute Care in Lancaster. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 19, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville with Father John Meinholz officiating. Burial with military honors accorded by the Abraham Hickok Wetmore American Legion Post No. 148 of Bloomington will be in Charlotte Cemetery, Glen Haven Township. Family and friends may call on Thursday, June 18, from 5 until 7 p.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville where a 4:45 parish scripture service will be held. Friends may also call on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church.  In lieu of plants and flowers, a Donald J. Metcalf Memorial Fund has been established.
